Job in Chandler
6/9/26 – Diagnosed a leaking evaporator coil. Added refrigerant to restore cooling operation temporarily for the homeowner pending repairs. 6/10/26 – Returned with helper to replace the evaporator coil. Pumped refrigerant charge into the condenser and removed the existing filter drier. Relocated the filter drier to the indoor unit to reduce the potential for refrigerant leaks associated with an outdoor installation. During coil replacement, discovered the condensate drain had two PVC P-traps installed. Repaired and reconfigured the drain piping to utilize a single properly installed P-trap. Pressure tested the system with nitrogen and evacuated the refrigerant lines to the appropriate vacuum level. Started and commissioned the system, verifying proper operation. No additional issues were found at this time. Photos of the work performed were provided to the customer.
