Job in Chandler
Tech came out and found thermostat error code indicating no connection to the “C” terminal. Rearranged wiring to properly connect the common wire to the RTU. During power disconnect, observed the fuse box was broken, likely due to conduit stress. Also found the PVC drain line disconnected. Attempted to connect the customer’s phone to Wi-Fi for smart thermostat setup but was unable to complete connection, possibly because the thermostat requires a 2.4 GHz network connection. Customer did not know the Wi-Fi password for the 2.4 GHz network and stated her son would assist with reconnecting the thermostat to Wi-Fi. Recommend repairing the broken fuse box, securing/reconnecting the PVC drain line, and resolving the home network issue to complete smart thermostat setup and connectivity.

A faulty connection was causing issues with temperature regulation in the air conditioning system. We replaced the thermostat wire leading to the condenser, ensuring efficient communication between the thermostat and the system, ultimately restoring optimal performance. The system is now functioning reliably, providing comfort for the customer.
