Hallelujah! After everything I’ve been through with other HVAC companies, I do not say this lightly — John with Ragan’s Heating & Air is in a completely different league. Before finding him, I had four — yes, four — different HVAC companies come out a total of ten separate times. I was even told my unit physically could not cool to the set temperature because “this is Arizona,” along with several other ludicrous explanations. TEN visits — and not one of them properly diagnosed the problem. Let that sink in. Across all those visits: • No one detected a gas leak — a serious safety issue • No one identified that I have a high-efficiency, multi-stage system • No one noticed the system wasn’t even properly hooked up or functioning as designed At best, that is extreme negligence; at worst, it raises serious questions about competency, training, and ethics. Some offered incomplete or speculative diagnoses. Some pushed unnecessary fixes. Many appeared poorly trained, and several attempted to price gouge without ever identifying the actual problem. In multiple instances, I was given confident, definitive statements about my system that were later proven to be false after proper diagnosis. Even when I asked direct, informed questions, I was given answers that turned out to be incorrect. None demonstrated a clear understanding of the system they were working on. Then John showed up — and within a short time, he identified what ten previous visits could not. That is not luck. That is expertise. John has: • A highly trained, technical eye • A deep understanding of advanced HVAC systems • A commitment to doing the job correctly the first time But what truly sets him apart is his INTEGRITY. After dealing with companies that were poorly trained, misleading, or more focused on overcharging and pushing unnecessary replacements than accurate diagnosis, it was immediately clear that John operates differently. He didn’t guess. He didn’t upsell. He didn’t overlook critical issues. He diagnosed, explained, and fixed the actual problem. It’s obvious he started his business to correct exactly what I experienced: • Poor workmanship • Inadequate training and lack of real technical knowledge • Missed or ignored problems • Price gouging without proper diagnosis • Inaccurate information that led to recommending full replacement • High costs without real solutions John is not just another HVAC technician — he is a true subject matter expert who takes pride in his craft and stands behind his work. After ten failed visits from other companies, he was the one who got it right. That says everything. Thank you for finally giving me peace of mind.
they did it great job. I will recommend them to anybody.
