Job in Mesa
We conducted an inspection of a roof-mounted Ameristar 3-ton heat pump package unit and identified several issues requiring attention. The broken condensate drain pan is leaking, necessitating replacement, along with the installation of a proper PVC condensate drain line. A missing service disconnect does not comply with electrical codes, and we recommend its installation. Replacing the heavily pitted contactor is essential to prevent electrical failure. Although airflow is generally good, several vents are blocked, and we suggest repairing the drywall after removing the affected cans for proper airflow restoration. The unit performed well in heating mode, with no issues identified. Additionally, the roof's back slope shows signs of deterioration, warranting evaluation by a roofing professional. We recommend addressing these issues and maintaining the system regularly.

By the next morning, he was already installing the new unit and solved the problem. This was so vital for my aging parents in the extreme desert heat. I'm so thankful for the prompt service.
